Green Screens for Learning
Limited Capacity full
Adding this to your schedule will put you on the waitlist.

Have you ever wanted to travel to a far away place? Do you ever learn about ideas that you can't touch? Green screens can help your students to engage in learning in a new way. They can take students to different places or allow story telling and puppets to travel into fun stories. We will use a hands-on approach to teaching green screens for learning. We will use full sized screens and box screens to allow participants to practice and learn about green screens to enhance their classrooms. We will share student work and guide you in an interactive adventure! Transport yourself to a virtual location, talk to your digital self and use cutouts and props to create powerful effects. Play and learn alongside and be inspired by their creativity and innovative techniques. This session is about one app and technique, but the goal is to provide a nudge of inspiration for teachers to make their own classrooms more creative and student-centered.
