When you picture technology integration in the classroom, what does it sound like? The click-click-click of a keyboard while students silently stare at a screen? Let’s beat this “silent treatment” and discuss ways to intentionally plan for student talk while leveraging technology to hear from all students! Throughout the session, I will model strategies for microdiscussions and effective use of the Poll Everywhere Google Slides extension, and we will discuss other participation tools such as Pear Deck, Flipgrid, and Screencastify. At the end of the session, participants will have time to apply their learning to an upcoming lesson.
